I'm having trouble with the next chapter. I have it written and don't feel like changing it... because it sounds nice the way it is... but this story may end up being really long...hehehe...

He found Wakka balancing a blitzball on his head. The older man had his eyes closed, so Tidus didn't bother him right away. He scuffed his feet; Wakka plucked the ball from his head and spun it expertly in his hands. "'Ey, Tidus. What you doin' here?"
"Hey, Wakka!" Tidus put a smile on his face and caught the ball as it was tossed to him. "Um... I'm going to get straight to the point, Wakka...." And he hesitated, his face turning a bit scarlet.
"Ya?" Wakka said, patience ever his winning virtue.
"Do you.... think it's weird that Sora likes me?"
"Thought he was with Riku," Wakka replied. "Why do you say that Sora likes you?" The blitzball player walked over to his backpack, where he'd kept some sodas and food. When Wakka offered Tidus something, he shook his head.
"He's flirting with me," Tidus said honestly. "And.... I... I like it."
"Whoa, whoa! Are you tellin' me you're gay, too?" Wakka sputtered some of his soda and wiped his mouth, giving Tidus a slightly wary look.
"No, no. I still think girls are pretty and I'd like to be with one!" Tidus insisted, gesticulating fervently. "I just....There's somethin' about Sora and... and I don't know what he wants from me."
"Why don't you just ask him? If he wants to break up with Riku, that's really up to him, isn't it?"
"I know that. But, Wakka.... he asked me if *I* liked Riku!" Tidus made a face of helplessness. Once again he tried to conjure up Riku - handsome, perfect, unbeatable Riku. Together with the memory of Sora's touch, Tidus found himself intensely aroused, and he turned around away from Wakka and sat down in the grass.
"Well... mebbe you should talk to Riku, then. Tell him what's goin' on."
"Not before the match!" Tidus cried. "He'll try to kill me for sure! Or Sora. I can't have that. No,
I'll wait until afterwards. That way... y'know, we can get over it before next match." He hoped he was right. His eyes drifted over toward the island. He couldn't see the infamous pair anymore. His jealousy was palpable and Wakka knew it.
"Well...mebbe you talk to Sora then, ya? If he likes you, like you say, then you should tell him to deal with it with Riku first. Nobody wants to get into a relationship between two people." Wakka winked, then ruffled Tidus's hair. "Gyahaha! You listen to your Unca Wakka now!"
Wakka had a different smell altogether, but it wasn't bad either. He had a habit made of cologne and unscented sunblock. Tidus squirmed away, bid him good-bye before traveling to the docks. The waves tenderly touched on the shore as though saying good-bye for the last time. A feeling of... desolation was around him, which only compounded his feelings further. While he untied his boat, he saw Sora walking up to the docks and standing, squinting up at him. "You're leaving?" He sounded... disappointed.
"Well... sure, the sun's going down, I figured--"
Sora interrupted. "Can I come over to your house and play on your PS2 or something?" He stepped up the ramp onto the porch and smiled at him. Tidus's heart fell to the floor. How could he say no?
