HELP!! [Tuesday, April 11th, 2006] hotaslava2024 My computer is infected with abcd.exe When I load windows XP, everything freezes then abcd.exe appears in the processes and the computer restarts. I can get into safe mode ok, but not safe mode with networking. I have ran all of my anti- spyware, adware and viurs scanner. I do not have hijackthis installed on that pc either. Nothing irregular shows up in the start up menu under msconfig. I cannot add programs in safe mode, nor do I have an internet connection to download anything. System restore also does not work. What can I do to save from reformatting? OR, if worse comes to worse.. Is there a way to preform a restoration that does not delete all of my programs/documents. PS: Since everyone I know keeps sending me to this article, http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=72574, I don't have hijackthis installed on that pc so this article has no use for me. 5 catfights Bitch Slap Me
