Community Information/Rules:
+ In order to view the layouts you MUST join the community.
+ Please remember that our designers are doing this for free and they cannot devote all of their spare time to making layouts. For this reason layouts will be posted at random.
+ Coding a layout and making graphics take time. Our FREE time to be exact. Please give us a break and be patient. Don't beg and pester.
+ Do NOT go to a makers journal or email them asking help about coding, html, and graphic design. This will get you BANNED. There are several other communities made specificaly to help you with those kinds of questions.
+ Do NOT come in with a link to someone else's journal and ask us to "copy" it. It not only infringes upon the creativity and effort of the person who made it, but its rude too!
+ Bringing your bad day into this community and treating others with a lack of respect will not be taken lightly.
+Do NOT give out your password to other LJ members.
+We will not give you code we have created so you can play with it, change it, and then slap your own name on it. This also means that if there is a "credit" section on a layout you've requested we expect you to leave it intact.
+ We DO NOT take requests. We do take suggestions though. Have a suggestion? Post one HERE.
Good Suggestion/Request:
"Hi, I would love to see some more Gwen Stefani layouts! Thanks!"
Bad Suggestion/Reguest:
"HEY CAN YOU MAKE ME A NEW LAYOUT, WITH LOTS OF RED AND MARILYN MANSON AND HAVE IT SAY 'THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE'???"
Layout Rules:
+ You must have a functioning livejournal. If your journal is very new, you have no friends, little to no posts, or just belong to a bunch of layout/graphic communities you won't get a layout.
+ Please when you see a layout a designer has posted that you like, comment in that entry and credit. We do have community buttons. Find them HERE.
+ Do NOT give code to anyone else. You will get banned and you will be reported to LJ Abuse.
+ We cannot set up a layout for you. There is a help section where you can ask questions if you need to.
+ Make sure there is no credit for a previous layout used by you. When using our layout just credit us, so people won't be misinformed.

Why can't I post to this community?
Members do not have posting access. Only designers and maintainers are able to make new posts. This is to help keep things organized within the community.
What does "host my images" mean? And where can I do that?
"Hosting your own images and saving to your own server" means that you save a graphic/picture to your own computer (saving to the desktop is the easiest). Then go to a hosting site, try photobucket, and upload the image. Confused? Let us know.
Why is my icon and entries cut off?
In most of the layouts, our designers "hide" the icons. If your entries are cut off at the top try enabling your default icon. If you already have a default icon when this problem started then disable your icon.
How do I give credit?
To properly give credit to a layout you MUST have a visible link somewhere either ON your layout or in your user info. If layouts have credits please DO NOT remove them. Make sure to credit the community, the maker, or both!
Can I make changes to the layouts?
No you may not make any changes to the layouts. If there is a paticular thing you'd like to see on future layouts please post your ideas HERE. We will take your ideas into consideration.
Also, please don't ask any of the designers anything about the coding/how to change things. There are other communities specifically designed for this type of help.
Can you change part of the layout for me?
No! Our designers will not alter their work just to make you happy. They posted those layouts as is. If you want something different learn how to make your own layouts, and codes - everything_lj can help you out with that. Sorry, but we aren't a request type community we are a premade layouts community.
My layout is messed up. I can't see my sidebar or header!

Awesome! We love new talent! All you have to do is apply to become a maker in THIS POST Show us some of your sample layouts - these can include graphics, code, or both. Please be advised that we are very picky when accepting new designers! We appreciate your interesting in becoming a designer. :-)

Someone asked me to give them the code you made for me. Is this against the rules?
Yes! These layouts take time. If that person wants any code tell them to join a community that deals with coding and help, like everything_lj.
Also if you know of someone who has broken a rule or has stolen anything please make a comment HERE. Comments are screened for your privacy.
Do you take requests?
We aren't accepting requests at this time, although you are able to put in suggestions on what you'd like to see in future layouts in THIS POST here.

Welcome to jadedpaper layouts. This is a premade layouts community where our talented designers post a variety of layouts for paid, unpaid, and community accounts. These layouts are posted for members to use. Just please comment and let us know when you are taking a layout. And always credit either the community, the maker, or both.
As of right now, we are not taking requests. If you would like to submit layout ideas please check out THIS POST and make a suggestion.

1.) You must have a functioning livejournal. That means with posts and everything. If you don't have friends/only in layout communities forget it.
2.) Before you ask for a layout please make sure our button is in your user info. There is a code for it in the user info. All you have to do is copy and paste it.
3.) Do NOT give the layout code to anyone else. Doing so will cause in your being banned from the community and you being reported to LJ Abuse.
4.) All layouts are on a first come, first serve basis. This is so that each person will be able to have a unique layout. However, the moment you take the layout down, it will be up for grabs.
5.) We can not set the layout up for you. However, there is a help section, in which you may ask questions if needed.
6.) When emailing the layout maker please be sure to including the following information in your email:
LJ Name:
Layout # and title:
AIM/Yahoo: (this is in case we need to contact you for one reason or another. make sure to let us know which messenger you are using also.)
Questions/Comments:
7.) After I have recieved the email, I will then send you the codes for the layout so you may then set it up. :)
8.) Make sure there is no credit for another layout in your user info. If there is make sure to delete it.
9.) Please remember that we do this for free and cannot devote ALL of our spare time to this. Expecting a delay is always a good idea. Also, when you email the form, include a thank you in the questions/comment section. This is to ensure that you read the rules and also makes the makers feel appreciated. The more original the better.

2.) Please remember that we do this for free and cannot devote ALL of our spare time to this. Expecting a delay is always a good idea.
3.) All layouts are on a first come, first serve basis. This is so that each person will be able to have a unique layout.
4.) Coding and graphics take time. Our FREE time to be exact. Please give us a break and be patient. Don't beg and pester.
5.) We will not teach you how to do html/css or graphic design and emailing the mods bugging them about it is a good way to get yourself banned. There are other communities made specifically to help you with those kinds of questions. Try overridehelp or howto.
6.) Do not come in with a link to someone else’s journal and ask us to "copy" it. It not only infringes upon the creativity and effort of the person who made it - it's rude.
7.) Bringing your bad day into this community and treating others with a lack of respect will not be taken lightly. Similarily, 'hoarding' layouts or requesting multiple layouts at one time is also frowned upon. If the warning given is not taken into consideration you will be banned.
8.) Do not give out your password to anyone other than the featured designers. We will never make modifications to your journal other than setting up the necessary code. We encourage you to set up a temporary password for your own protection and peace of mind and restore your original password once we're done.
9.) We do not take requests. Suggestions, yes. Requests, no. Remember.. even if your suggestion is used, that does not mean that you will be the one to end up with it. Feel free to make a suggestion here. Check the community often.
The difference would be:

Suggestion = good.

01. why can't i post to this community?
only the featured designers are allowed to make new posts. this is to avoid "cluttering" the community with unrelated posts.
02. i have a request.. where does it go?
we are not accepting requests for layouts at this time. designs for both paid and unpaid styles will continue to be added to this community as inspiration and creativity allows. the remaining designs in 'available' status and will be listed along the left-hand side of the community on the "info bar". remember, layouts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure you post your request a.s.a.p.
03. My header isn't showing up please help!
Make sure you have a website listed in your userinfo. If you don't understand the meaning of this please see the tutorial (comming soon).
If you are seeing red x's make sure your links are correct and you are not direct linking.
04. Where can i host my images?
Try Photobucket.
05. Why is my icon cut off? or My entries are cut off...
In most of our layouts we cover up our icons. If your entries are cut off a little at the top try enabling your default icon. You can do this by going to manage user pics and selecting a default icon. If you already have a default icon and its cut off a little try the opposite variation of this and disable your icon..

In the user info of this community you'll find several buttons available for use. All you have to do is copy whats in the textarea and paste it directly into your info or sidebar. If you'd like to credit the maker make sure you're crediting the person who made the layout and not their test journals. If you are unsure its best to just credit the community.
07. i would like to become a featured designer for this community, what should i do?
ooooh! yay for help! :) well, just send us some samples of layouts (with either graphics or code or both) you've done. we can always use help on both sides. but please be advised, we are very picky when accepting designers. :)
08. i am being harassed.
please send us the username and a log of the conflict so that we can act as a mediator and take care of the situation.
09. someone asked me to give them the code you made for me. is this against the rules?
grr. well, yes. we work hard to make the layouts! please let us know who it is and we will take care of it accordingly.
10. i think i might have broken my code. i added some things/took some things out and now my journal doesn't look right anymore!!
heh, this is why we do not encourage you "play" with the code. :P! try everything_lj. there are many people that would be more then willing to help you fix it!
