APPLY FOR POSTING ACCESS
APPLY TO THIS POST ONLY!

DO NOT click the join link at the top of the userinfo. If you click it without having applied and been accepted, you will be IGNORED and you will not be allowed to apply again. And my trained llamas just might come and eat you.

1. Read all of the rules.

2. Please post your application in the following format:
Username:
Icon Journal: (if you have one)
Graphics Program: (PS, PSP, etc.)
Examples of Your Work: (please post 5-10 icons that you have made)

3. When posting your icon examples, please include at least 4 examples of text-only icons (after all, this is a text-only icon community). Your other examples can be your choice.

4. When posting your examples, try to show a variety. Don't just pick five icons from the same set.

5. If you cannot handle constructive criticism, please do not bother applying. I won't be mean, but I will be honest.

6. If you apply and are NOT accepted, you may apply again after TWO WEEKS. If you apply again before that time, you will automatically be denied.

7. If you are accepted, you will need to check your invites, since LJ no longer sends out emails for this.

Note #1: If you have already been accepted and are only changing your journal name/location, you DO NOT need to reapply. Just post here and let me know! :)

While I think your icons have potential, I'm going to say no for now, mainly because of the poor image quality. Most of your icons are either blurry or grainy, and some of your fonts are difficult to read. I really like the 2nd and 3rd icons - great use of textures and fonts - and I'd like to see more of that sort if you decide to reapply. :)

Oh my gosh, I just saw your comment! Stupid LJ not giving me my emails. Bah.

Anyway... I really like the start you've got here! I'm going to say no for now, but only because I think some of your icons are a bit oversharpened and I'd love to see you branch out with your fonts. I really love the first icon and I think you've definitely got creativity! I highly recommend this tutorial on text-only icons - it's awesome. Please reapply later - I can't wait to see what you'll come up with. :)

I think you've got a great start here - you've definitely got creativity and I love the quotes! I'm going to say no for now because most of your icons are grainy and a bit oversharpened, but there's so much potential and I'd love to see you reapply later on. :)

Your icons are really fun! I love your use of color. My only concrit would be to watch out for the brightness factor - some of them are hard to read because of the gradients. :) Check your invites!
