It is definitely not your average Harry Potter community. To get into the wizarding world, you must fill out an application over at sorting_elite and then be sorted into any of the four Houses. Once you're sorted, you can join all sorts of communities! You get to join a community for your House; embark on trivia, writing, and graphic challenges to earn points for your House; and make the most amazing friends!

hogwarts_elite is a community run on terms. In the terms, Houses earn points. At the end of each term, we have Hogsmeade weekend which is a weekend comprised of tons of activities to gain points before the House Cup is awarded.

We've all dreamed about going to Hogwarts - now's your chance!

catchmeacatch is a multi-fandom RP where characters from any fictitious work are accepted. There are no OCs or celebrities allowed. The game revolves around all of the characters being matched up, but plenty of interaction can happen outside of those interactions. Each character will maintain a journal which will be viewed by other players, but will be private within the world of the game. Journals can also be used for all interactions besides hotel parties and official dates, which will be played in the main community. Please pick a character, pick a PB and apply.

Specifically, we seem to be wanting a Vossler (preferably one into yaoi) and Ashe from FF12 because well, we had cool ideas for them for the rebellion. Also great would be a Leon from Pet Shop of Horrors, and a Jade Curtiss or Asch the Bloody from Tales of the Abyss, a Light Yagami from Death Note and a Hotohori from Fushigi Yuugi.

Witchbreed; An Elizabethan-Era Marvel RPG Premise / Rules / Taken Characters / Wanted & Held / Apply It is the Year of Our Lord sixteen hundred and two, and strange things are stirring in England. For years, the stories have circulated of the Witchbreed: young men bearing strange abilities and magical powers; folk who can fly, kill at a touch or read a person's deepest secrets simply by looking into their eyes. And whether or not the tales are to be believed, those in power are apt to look upon the unfamiliar with fear and suspicion. Spain has responded most violently: the Inquisition persecutes anybody who looks different or appears to have supernatural abilities, burning dozens of people as Witchbreed. In England, Queen Elizabeth I has remained mildly tolerent of the Witchbreed; as long as they have not troubled her people, she has not seen fit to trouble them. She has thus far turned a blind eye to the operations of Spanish national Carlos Javier, who has established a haven for the strange new breed under the guise of a selective school for the sons of gentlefolk. However, recent events have thrown England in disarray. The Queen has been assassinated by an unknown agent and James VI of Scotland has been propelled to the English throne. James, whose fear and hatred of the Witchbreed is legendary, was quick to lay the finger of blame on the creatures he so despises. He has dispatched men to capture and kill any known to be Witchbreed, and hefty rewards are offered to any who are able to identify or turn in anybody showing unexplained powers. Meanwhile, in Domdaniel, Spain, the Grand Inquisitor Enrique himself has been revealed as one of the very monsters he hunts, secretly smuggling away any who could pass for human, gathering disciples - a Brotherhood of Witchbreed. He and his followers have escaped death at the stake and fled from Spain to whereabouts unknown, leaving behind them a heightened atmosphere of fear and suspicion. The world is an increasingly unfriendly place for those who are different. Master Javier's college remains one of the few safehavens for the Witchbreed, but it seems only a matter of time before it, too, is uncovered by James' men. Opening February 26

Hogwarts Story is set twenty-five years after Voldamort was finally destroyed. Since, the world of wizards has thrived in new found peace; War and fear are a thing of the past. While some still hold to pureblood beliefs, most have done away with the idea that muggleborn and halfbloods are lesser wizards. Slytherin has even been forced to take some halfbloods due to the number of pureblood students dwindling. But Hogwarts, as always, is a second home to hundreds of young wizards, teaching them everything they need to know about magic and sometimes a lot more about life.

This is one of the few games that isn’t about the next big wizard war. Which isn’t set during the books or before, but after with the children of canon characters. There’s no big admin run plot line to follow. Instead, we have a focus on friendships, enemies, relationships, and personal storylines. There will, however, be many, many small plot lines and things happening around the school, which will be admin run. Everything from pranksters playing tricks on other students (which you can sign your character up for) to characters discovering the house elves are serving frogs' legs for dinner.

Above all, with a focus on fun and a relaxed atmosphere to write in, its going to be a blast!
