I woke up late(=_=) and missed the meeting time with the rest, so I just thought I would take the day easy. There were many game demos, but since I got there late, I mostly hung around the Square Enix booth, then the cosplay area consumed me XD I didn't manage to look at all the booths, totally missed out on the goods section cuz I didn't have time to get to that hall, but the cosplay area + unexpected people made the event an unforgettable one for me! Too...much...over...load....orz [Sunday Oct 12th, 08 at 12:24pm] haru_reika [mood| peaceful] [music| The Kiddie - So High] Omg, i can't believe i spent nearly ten hours with Momoyo and the others on Friday...-_-lll Me and Momoyo met up for lunch as usual on Friday, then Bel, who was in the city, joined us. After that Yuuki came to the restaurant as well. After that, we went to Chinatown coz Ino called up and said he was at Sugarbowl. Bel left coz she had stuff to do. But anyway, went to Sugarbowl, where Momoyo said "I love you" in Cantonese to an old man who worked at Sugarbowl.... (ﾟ∀ﾟ) (well to be fair, she wanted to say something else, but then she realized that all her Cantonese vocab consisted of either swear words or 'I love you' so....). After that, went to a few costume shops coz Ino wanted to rent a costume for the costume party today. Momoyo suggested going to karaoke after that, which we did. I thought we were just gonna part ways and go back at that time coz it was nearly eight thirty, but no, we went to Sushi Train for dinner instead, and Ryo joined us as well. I swear when i got back at ten my ears were still ringing with Japanese...o_O It got especially bad at Sushi Train coz 90% of the time we were all speaking Japanese. And Momoyo was speaking so fast at times that i couldn't catch up...-_-lll I feel a bit sick now...orz I can't believe i'm saying this but i'm not gonna speak Japanese for at least a week. -_-lll Instead of my usual Jrock, I spent all of yesterday listening to Ouran's OST, coz it's all ochestra music, meaning no singing. -_-lll And i was planning to go back home and prepare for my presentation on Wednesday after going to Sugarbowl....orz But at least i did have fun, and i managed to get some articles read this afternoon so hey. (o^-')b Kinda worried coz my presentation this Friday deals with Aboriginal writings, specifically abt the Stolen Generation...and i know zero about that except from what Gary's housemate told me...-_-lll Now that i think abt it, we never did any Australian history back in highschool. Well, we did, but only abt the discovery of Australia. Not anything deeper than that. -_-lll Oh dear... Anyway, got some music from this band this morning.   They're called...The Kiddie....yeah...-_-lll They're not great, and didn't make me go all "OMG" like xTRiPx did, but they're still pretty good. Their music is kinda...refreshing. You know those music that just makes you go "YAY FREEDOM!"? ヽ(´▽`)ノ It's not exactly pop-rock, but it's something like that. They're a pretty new band, with only 3 singles so far. But the members have all been in previous bands (which i have never heard of btw...-_-lll) so at least they've had some degree of experience. Sayonara Setsuna is a great album! (*´∀｀*) And i really like In One Sense too. The vocals' voice has a boyish quality that i really like. (o^-')b And hey, the members are pretty cool too so that's an added bonus i guess....(o^-')b Also, i'm currently playing the 4th and last case in Apollo Justice. When the case from 7 years ago came up, and you get to play as Phoenix i nearly squealed! o(≧∇≦)o They used the music from the first game! And all the graphics and even Gumshoe! It's just so nostalgic! ヽ(´▽`)ノ If i had a physical copy of the first Phoenix Wright game i would SO snuggle it! o(≧∇≦)o But yeah, the music, it's definitely the music! (*´∀｀*) And speaking of games, the creators of Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Studio Ghibli are gonna make a game together! It's called Ni no Kuni: The Another World. I saw the trailer a few days ago! It just looks so awesome! I can't wait for it to come out! o(≧∇≦)o It's gonna be at least 2009, but hey, something this good? It's gotta be worth the wait! [Friday Oct 10th, 08 at 8:20pm] morango_tenjou [ mood | contemplative ] Os fãs de X são estranhos, é só ameaçar falar mal de X-JAPAN que eles caem matando, falam da banda como se ela fosse a melhor coisa do mundo e tudo que existe é inferior à eles, que absolutamente todas as bandas visuais devem praticamente a vida ao X. Fãs fiéis? Apaixonados? Pra mim são fãs de fachada, gente que ouve sobre X e praticamente se força a gostar da banda porque, oh meu deus, é o X. Generalizando, claro. O vocalista da banda está no Brasil, em plena epoca do aniversário dele, e não ouvi falar de um fã sequer do X que tenha ido na recepção dizer "Oi Toshi" e dar tchauzinho de longe. Ok, não é X-JAPAN, só o Toshi, mas também não é o Charlotte todo e teve gente que foi lá pra ver eles, e que já estão até preparando uma despedida bonitinha, isso sem contar as pessoas que só iam pelo Jun, que nem veio. Agora põe no papel, a comunidade do Charlotte tem 2090 pessoas, a do Phantasmagoria tem 1669, e a do X? 9340 membros! Desses 9340 membros não teve uma pessoa sequer que é fã do Toshi o suficiente pra dar um jeito de ir no aeroporto? Fico imaginando se por exemplo viesse apenas o KAMIJO ou o HIZAKI ou qualquer membro do Versailles, eu deixaria de ir só porque não é Versailles inteiro? Whining. [Friday Oct 10th, 08 at 7:39pm] agentscuiy How did I go from updating every day/multiple times a day last week to not updating since? Whoops! I've just been so drained lately. This throat/cold illness of mine is just not going away... the garlic will make it better but as soon as I stop taking the garlic, it comes back a few days later.. and the chopping/eating garlic twice a day is a pain in the butt that I generally just don't have time for. I'm not particularly SICK per say... it's not like the severe sinus infections I used to get where I'd be miserably in pain and unable to breathe for days. It's not majorly interfering with being able to go to work or anything; you probably would have no idea I am sick at a glance. But it's the constant fatigue that's gotten to me. I can deal with having a constant sore throat, occasionally coughing my lungs out and choking when I'm trying to talk, but recently it's gotten to the point that I can't get enough sleep, and my body SCREAMS at me at the end of the day, I hurt all over just from being alive. The other day I slept for 10 hours solid (without the help of sleeping pills or anything of the sort), woke up, decided to go back to sleep and slept another 2. But getting that much sleep is so rare. Having to get up at 5:30 for work three days a week, I have to go to sleep at 9 the night before to feel like a human being the next day. And considering I work until 9:30 or 10 some nights, it's just impossible. (Plus who really wants to go to sleep at 9 anyway? Not me.) On top of it all, I have the worst shoulder/neck muscle pain of my life (I have no idea why), and I'm afraid my pathetically weak immune system is not going to hold up to the trials of public transportation all winter... Yeah I'm a germaphobe, but seriously, people sneezing on me, wiping their nose on their hand then subsequently touching everything in sight is enough to make me vomit. It's just... all too much. I'm not happy, and I don't know what to do about it. I guess really my only option now is to get my tonsils out? I'm going home for Christmas, but they say the healing time is about two weeks for an adult, and I don't really want to be spending my Christmas and New Years bedridden in horrendous pain. Bah... Na de a tegnapi napról: Reggel 6:30-ra volt húzva az óra..mire apa 6:15kor egy akkora virágcsokorral keltett,hogy O.O nagyon brutális volt.Beledugta az arcomba és felébredtem az illatára..De meseszép az a csokor..^^ Suliban Anita felköszöntött az osztály előtt és így a terem másik feléből rohant hozzám és annyira aranyos volt <3333.Német tanár hallotta és egyből kérdezősködni kezdett,hogy hanyadik és ilyesmi.Tökjófej volt pedig utáltam eddig..idén egész normális..lehet megváltozik róla a kialakított kép? XD. Töri óra borzalom volt: Kitty egy suttyó de nagyon egyre jobban idegesít elis ültem onnan mert mindennel felbosszant.Végigdumálja az órákat és utána meg nekem pampog hogy segítsek..hát nem !!! Never knew the basics of Japanese language was influenced by foreigners in such a way! Cool huh. Anyway, that was just something I learnt in this class I sat in for. I ate that but... The taste of garlic was non-existant, it was depressing... I forgot to take a picture of it so I can't express it well enough however...
