Another question, because I'm developing insomnia.

Because I'm mad and/or sleep-deprived I'm currently thinking it'll be a great idea to post one hundred fics, each centered around a *different* woman (and hence fufill the community's name of 100 women). As I've already quickly brainstormed 110 possibilities, this is probably what I'll end up doing. In this case, should I just use a tag for the fandom and not bother with a character name, given that my fandoms are relatively obscure, and so are unlikely to get other participants?

For the record, I really am bonkers to be doing this - I've already got two [info]fanfic100 tables. Thankfully I'll be able to use a lot of the overlap.

That would be *awesome.* There are lots of incredible female characters around, and the more exposure they get, the happier I'll be. As for the tag question. . . I'll add the character names, for now. If the system gets unweildy with individual names, and if comm members start complaining, I may phase it out later.

Also, if you're not feeling quite so insane--sorry!--*brave* as you were when you first commented, do feel free to post older stories, too.

The insanity/bravery was a result of joining at 4am, just because I'd happened to stay awake until then. So long as I remain sleep-deprived for the next year it'll be fine. The problem with writing for 100 women is that I'm trying to write the *best* story for that character, rather than fill up space (and take up character options) with fics i'm only half-happy with.

But I've got one or two fics which fit the criteria well, so I might post something tonight.

Sorry if this inspires another poll, but I do hope that not all the characters have to be *human*. In the same vein would a 'generic' character/POV count? For example, I'm wanting to write a story from the POV of an unnamed generic female dragon from Ursula LeGuin's Earthsea - I want to examine the mating rituals of the dragons, so the characterisation/name isn't so important as the gender-roles of these creatures.

I apologise for being an annoying little commer, but I try to do these challenges *correctly* and so I question the minutae of the rules.

'Captain Scarlet' can be shortened to CS.

I'll probably only write about one or two of them at a time, for the most part; but as all the fics put together will be about 'the angels' that'll cover everything. Don't want to overcomplicate things.

I just posted a fic about a character not yet on the list, but before the mods get to it, I'd like to point out that this character has two names. Relena Peacecraft is her birth name, but it changed to Relena Darlian when she was adopted. Fandom uses the two almost indiscriminately. Could the tag read "Gundam Wing: Relena Darlian-Peacecraft", or is that too long? Otherwise, either surname will do. :)
