Notes: Becky Albright is a character from Milligan’s “Batman: Scarecrow #01”.
Jonathan Crane becomes obsessed over her because she doesn’t fear him and she also testifies against him, sending him back to Arkham. When he escapes, his aim is to break her down. Plus, during the story, he develops a sort of love/hate feeling towards her.
However, in the end, Batman captures him, and says: “She’s not everything you hate. She’s everything you fear.”
Hence, this fanfic is my own sequel of Milligan’s story. A sort of “What if…”, basically.
Plus, the nursery rhyme and the doll come directly from the Loeb/Sale-verse and Becky is of age, even if he calls her a “little girl”.
Summary: He tastes like nightmares, tears and darkness.

She’s afraid she will die and yet she has never felt so alive.
